Is your barndominium pet proof?

We’re already going for floors the dogs can’t destroy, but is there anything else that should be considered with pets?
I feel like I’m forgetting something and I’ll realize it once I see the paw, mud, and scratch marks that I can’t get out.

Doors, doorframes, and screens are all things I see getting regularly damaged by pets. Spend the extra money and go extra durable on those.

You have a point about the screens! I did a search and there are some that are a thicker looking by a long shot and claim to be “pet proof.” I’m going to have a look into it. Has anyone used them before?

You’ll probably want something that protects screens so paws don’t land on them in the first place.

I was thinking that. Pet screens look like a good idea, but I’m sure even they have limits.
